Mia Mia Walking Tour

CHIRP’s free walking tour on October 30 will be an opportunity to walk around Rotunda Park in Newstead and along the nearby creek, exploring the cultural and environmental history, precolonial and subsequent.

Volunteer Ray Stevenson will be the guide for this walking tour. Ray is a member of Newstead Historical Society and a Nalderun volunteer, which gives him a unique insight into the heritage value of the area for our two cultures.

Meet at Rotunda Park on Lyons Street in Newstead at 10am on October 30 for the gentle 90-minute walk finishing at 11.30am. Remember to bring your walking shoes, hat and water bottle.

For further information, call CHIRP Community Health on 5479 1000. Bookings are not required for these monthly walking tours.
