Enjoy a tour of Maldon CBD

If you’d like to learn more about historic Maldon, meet new friends and get some gentle exercise, come on a free guided walking tour which starts at 10am on February 26th.

Join CHIRP Community health and their volunteer Ray Stevenson as they take you on a fun tour of the Maldon CBD. The walk starts at Maldon post Office on High Street and will include Francis and Main Streets.

“We’d love to see our regular participants and warmly welcome any new guests. It’s very inclusive and a nice reason to head outdoors and enjoy some fresh air”, said organiser Liza Shaw.

The gentle hour-long stroll is part of the monthly community walks organised by CHIRP Community Health. It is suitable for all ages and abilities.

“Maldon is a marvellous gem which has grown from tents and shacks in a valley. The walk will look at how commerce, manufacture and entertainment shaped early community life and township growth,” said Ray Stevenson, local history guide.
