COVID-19 Testing Clinic relocates to Castlemaine Stadium

07th December 2021

The COVID-19 Testing Clinic has relocated from Mostyn Street to the Castlemaine Stadium in McGrath Street, Wesley Hill. Testing commences from the new site at 9.30am on Wednesday, 8 December.

The move has been prompted by the need for safer facilities for staff and clients, especially as the temperature rises through the Summer months. The Castlemaine Stadium site also offers greater testing capacity for when demand surges. The relocation is supported by the site owner, Mount Alexander Shire Council, and the Department of Health.

The Castlemaine Stadium carpark will be closed when the COVID-19 Testing Clinic is operating. Visitors taking part in daytime activities at the stadium while the COVID-19 clinic is open should use on-street parking. Most afternoon and evening users will be able to continue parking onsite.

The site will be protected by 24-hour security and traffic control, which will direct traffic off street as much as possible to minimise the impact on local residents.

The COVID-19 Testing Clinic currently operates from 9.30am to 11.30am Monday to Friday. Anyone who requires testing should complete the online registration form or call 5479 1005 to make an appointment.
